The White Room
Find somewhere comfortable where you will not be disturbed
and breathe normally.
Imagine that you are walking through a doorway into
a space filled with white light and energy. The white
light is thick, almost blanketing, like fog. It feels
safe and comforting. You can't see any boundaries
to the space, the only thing that is visible in the
space with you is a young child. This child is filled
with pure love and light and radiates this towards you.
The child is too young to judge anything about you and
accepts you totally with unconditional love.
As there is nothing else in this white space, there
is nothing for you to do, to be or to prove. It doesn't
matter what you look like, what you do, how successful
you are. It means nothing in this space. There is nothing
for your projections to bounce of. Instead whatever
comes to the surface disolves into the light.
Your ego self is not used to this, so it will attempt
to keep putting up projections of how you identify yourself.
Allow this resistance to occur and each time make a
conscious intent to allow this projection to dissolve.
Use your heart centre as a focus for you to return to.
See yourself being loved and accepted by the child,
just as you are.
Maintain this discipline each time you feel some resistance
or discomfort and you will notice as time goes on that
it is easier to maintain the space in between, without
an identity projection. In the space you find in between,
you start getting in touch with your deeper self, your
truth, the observer self. This is the self that you
need to know and cultivate.
Practice this daily when you first wake up in the morning.
Before you open your eyes and get caught up in thinking
about the day's activities, allow yourself some time
in the white room.
