Healing Energy

 

Hi

Please note that after 7 years working from Barcom Avenue, I am about to move! I will be here until the middle of December and then will be taking holidays for 4 weeks over Christmas and New Year. During that time, I will be available for Distant Healing sessions, which can be arranged by phone or email.

Details of my new clinic space are yet to be finalised, but I will still be available at Nature Care Wholistic and Medical centre in Crows Nest on Wednesdays (and other days by arrangement). I will send out new details as soon as possible.

I have had a few enquiries about distant healing recently, so I thought I’d give some more information about it in this newsletter. I've also included a comforting meditation and a "recipe" to help de-stress.

Distance Healing

Distant healing has been defined as being a conscious, dedicated act of mentation attempting to benefit another person's physical or emotional well-being at a distance.

It is a process where a spiritual healing practitioner will connect with a person some distance from them, as opposed to face-to-face sessions, and will send vibrational energy to help facilitate healing. It is similar to the way a clairvoyant can provide you with a reading from a phone call or email.

As in a normal session, the healing practitioner “tunes” in to the energy of the client, reading areas of disharmony and depletion, and sends energy to correct these. A distant session can be just as powerful as an in-person session and it doesn’t make any difference whether the person is in the next room or half way around the world (as I am often requested to do)!

Quantum physics explains this by likening the universe to a holograph. Everything is connected, so that a change in one subatomic particle creates a change in the other, even if they are a universe apart. So working with intent on a person who is located elsewhere has a simultaneous impact on them.

People often ask “how do you know if it is working?

There are a couple of factors involved that determine what a client may experience. People who are more sensitive to energy or are in touch with their bodies are more likely to feel the changes as the session occurs, even though they may be at some distance from the healing practitioner. It is the same with an in-person session, where some people feel the energy changing, while some others who are less sensitive may not feel anything. It doesn’t mean there is nothing happening right then; it just means the experience varies depending on each person’s sensitivity.

The other important factor involved is that healing occurs on many levels and some deep healing may not be immediately apparent in outer awareness or a reduction in symptoms. Some healing may need to occur first on an emotional, mental or spiritual level, before it can be integrated into the physical body. The aim of the healing session is to heal the underlying cause of a problem at its source, rather than just treating a symptom. Symptoms will only reoccur if the underlying cause of a problem is not dealt with.

Stress Management

Recipe for calming and winding down:

  • Find some music that you find calming or uplifting and play it – again and again, if necessary!
  • Burn essential oils that you love. Good ones to burn for relaxation and de-stressing are Lavender, Bergamot, Neroli, Patchouli, Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Camomile and Sandalwood.
  • Use soft mood lighting or candles.
  • Surround yourself with objects and things that you love.
  • Lie or sit and cover yourself with a cosy blanket or rug. Take some Australian Bush Flower “Calm and Clear” essence.
  • Focus on one thing at a time, rather than trying to solve everything.
